Using Notice Terms and Reporting
Lease reporting is essential for effective real estate and financial management, particularly in organizations with a large portfolio of leased assets. This ensures regulatory & financial compliance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Portfolio Optimization & Strategy. It provides a single source of truth for lease terms, dates, obligations, and contacts.
Notice Terms
Notice terms define how far in advance a leaseholder must act. LeaseOps uses these to:
- Calculate the next exit date (e.g., give notice today = exit in 3 months).
- Calculate the last possible notice date (e.g., lease ends on Oct 31, notice term = 3 months, so last notice = July 31).
Reporting
You can:
- Filter events by type (renewal, termination, etc.).
- Export critical dates including notice terms, start/end dates, and more.
- Use upcoming event views to track what needs attention.
