# Minimum Duration Filter for Occupancy

## Basking offers the flexibility to exclude short-duration visits to an office. Learn what the minimum duration filter is and how to use it.

### Description

Basking now offers the flexibility to exclude short-duration visits to an office. With the new *Minimum Duration filter*, you can exclude those visitors from the occupancy numbers who spend less than the specified time (for example, 30 mins) in the office.

For example: if you would like to exclude delivery or cleaning personnel from the office occupancy, this new feature can help you achieve your goal.

### Recommended Usage and Values

We recommend using a minimum duration filter of **30 minutes** to filter out short visits to the office.

### How to use it?

Currently, we don't offer a UI to set the minimum duration filter. Please [create a service ticket](https://support.basking.io/kb-tickets/new?hsLang=en) and we will do the setting for you.
