# Recurring Events and Cadence

Recurring lease events are periodic actions, obligations, or decisions that repeat over the term of the lease. They may be contractual, operational, or compliance-driven. Think of recurring lease events like calendar meetings:

- One **master event** generates future instances.
- Each instance is editable.
- You can change recurrence settings later (e.g., switch from one-time to yearly).
