# Parking Leases and Reservations

## Managing Parking Lease and Reservations with LeaseOps

A parking lease grants a tenant or occupant the exclusive or non-exclusive right to use a designated number of parking spaces for a defined period. Whether it is a standalone lease or part of a broader property lease, it can be managed in the LeaseOps platform.

A parking reservation is a short-term or on-demand allocation of parking spaces without a formal lease which can also be managed via LeaseOps via parking reservation events.

### Tracking Parking

LeaseOps allows you to manage parking as:

- A standalone lease.
- An event within another lease.

You can capture:

- Number of spaces.
- Amounts paid.
- Duration of the lease.

Tip: Add parking reservation events with metadata to ensure accurate reporting.
